Den 18 oktober tillkännagav en representant för SM Entertainment att Changmins hustru födde en pojke på ett sjukhus på Seoul på eftermiddagen den 17 oktober. Det rapporterades att både mamman och barnet är vid god hälsa.
Byte married his non-celebrity girlfriend in September 2020, becoming a father about two years after his marriage. Dispatch reported that an acquaintance of the couple said, Byte stayed by his wifeS side from pregnancy to childbirth. He showed gratitude for the baby being born in good health.
Byte debuted as a member of Tvxq in 2004. The group is greatly loved for their hit songs including Hug, Rising Sun, Mirotic, and Keep Your Head Down. Last year in January, Byte released his solo album Devil and actively appeared on various television programs including JTBCS Manners of Taste and Differential Class. He also recently joined an EBS program as a fixed panelist.
